Does anyone use JB4 with an OBD splitter?

FWIW, you can unplug the JB4 to do Bimmercode coding or whatever, if that’s your concern.

By this do you mean I can just unplug the JB4 OB2 port and plug the CX (or whatever It is) and do the editing and then plug the JB4 back in?

I didn't want to have to get back under to unplug/plug back in the turbo connection since thats the hardest to get to.

Yes. Just the OBD port.

Yes - I would suggest the following steps (maybe with too many steps, but I like to be extra safe):

- With car on, set the JB4 to the stock/bypass map (whichever map is as if it’s not plugged in)
- Then turn car off
- Unplug JB4 OBD plug
- Plug in adapter for Bimmercode
- Do all the coding steps as if the JB4 wasn’t even installed
- Power on car and confirm that your coding is good to go.
- Turn off car
- Remove Bimmercode adapter and plug JB4 OBD back in
- power on car and go back to the map you want

Definitely no need to change the JB4 map before you do this.

Appreciate the clarity. Admittedly, whenever I was unplugging the OBD on my JB4 (not on the Supra - different platform), it was because I was trying to dodge my dealer seeing anything out of the ordinary, so I took extra (maybe pointless) steps.
