All personal opinions, we used to do lot of their stuff for the GTRs.

As far as look go, of course. But i think it's fair to question how functional that wing really is considering it comes from a company that makes these:

Of course not everybody cares about having a functional wing, and there's nothing wrong with that. That's also preference

The more I see this wing the more it starts to grow on me. I love how low it sits, it’s a different look and honestly it gives the Supra such a different aesthetic. Your guys thoughts?

they use the epsilon airfoil, i believe. high efficiency (relatively) but also low downforce at max AOA.

Apparently, Varis defines "swan neck" as "curvy upright" nowadays :rolleyes1:

Still expensive. For that money I’d go with spage or Verus if what you want is a bench type of wing.

if you want more of an ornamental wing, (which is ? ok) there are much more options. The Adro, is really nice.
The only one I can attest to, as far as quality and installation goes is the Verus VX1. As long as your install is good and you review all your bolt
Pms before going to the track, you get a good long lasting accessory.

I know this is an old thread but I figure I will add my thoughts after having this wing for the past 3 years. Hopefully someone will find this helpful if they are in the market for one.

Functionally, I do not notice any gains in downforce at the track. This is a decorative wing as others have mentioned. I don't think it's actively hurting anything but it's certainly not doing much. I have tracked this car about 10 times with this wing and haven't had anything issues with my aero balance or the wing coming off.

The mounts are very sturdy. The swan neck itself is a CNC aluminum piece and basically bomb proof. The mounts that go into the trunk are a very thick fiberglass. I had to add metal reinforcement plates on the top side. I also used rivets on the rear facing parts of the mounts because it's very difficult to install the supplied nut there. IMO, if you add a metal support plate, the weight is properly distributed and won't warp you trunk. KUHL was missing hardware when I received it but I ended up using McMaster bolts for most of the wing anyways. I have not had to do any retorquing or fixes since the initial install of the wing 3 years ago.

If I were to do this build again, I might have passed on this wing just because I became a lot more track focused and this wing is preventing me from getting something more functional unless I accept the swiss cheese trunk. If you are looking for something unique and are focused on building a street/show car, there is no other wing truly like it and in that regard I do not regret it. Have fun with your build and don't let the status quo tell you how to build stuff.
