I don't need to track a car in order to understand simple math... if everything else is the same the only difference in tires are the sidewall going from 19's to 18's. Also, if you sticking with same overall diameter, typically there will be very little difference in cost.
Again you are missing the valid points i brought up and to answer OP Question as to the advantage 18" wheels. Thank you, goodnight.

I hadnt seen another set of TC-4's on a mkv (still havent) so I was really antsy until I got everything(HKS springs/studs/nuts/tpms/tires) to put them on. Im super happy with them as a daily street tire setup.

We should have some 18" Titan7 TS5 restocking in black and bronze in about 2 weeks, get them before they're gone again!

I personally have been stuck on running 18's on this car forever. The Titan 7 18's look amazing but you need a proper coilover to run them. What 18 inch setups are you guys and gals running?

At first I did Titan 7's squared setup on stock shocks & springs with 15 mm spacers in the front. Cleared the spring perch and no poke (pretty close tho), but probably would've added some spacer in the rear too if I was going for the looks.

Switched to coilovers and did the new 18x10.7 +38 with no spacers.

Liked them so much I bought 2 extra sets, same size different colors haha.
Hey I bought the same wheels and kw coilovers. My tire size aee 275 35 r 18 for front tire and 295 35 r18 for rear tire. Should I have any issues? What tire size are you running? The mechanic said wheels are too big upfront to clear the spring

Enkei GTC02 18×10.5 +35 on stock suspension. Front added 10mm spacer and rear is 15mm. If no spacer that won't clear stock suspension.
