Liqui Moly Cera Tec In The 2020 Supra?

Random but related question, i have yet to change my own oil as the car is still on Toyota Care but anyone use a magnetic oil drain plug? Suggestions/recommendations? I've always run one in all my cars but yet to see any metallic material on one...

Liqui Moly suggested I use Ceratec to protect my engine and pair up with their TopTec 6600 0w20 oil. I've been running it for a month and it's great thus far.

Of course they would, why recommend 1 product when you can recommend 2 (from a sales perspective).

Being that this thread is made and recent I need some help from you guys… quick question, currently at 400ishh miles haven’t hit 500 yet. When should I do my first oil change and what oil would you recommend. Florida weather.

Found this video presented to Porsche Car Club. Lake Speed Jr. uses oil analysis (from his company of course) to evaluate engine oil composition through user submitted oil. I'm sure he's got a massive database looking at discrete data such as viscosity, contamination, wear, friction, and detergents.

TLDR:
Polyethylamine (i.e. Techron is good) ?
Oil additives not so good but can be detrimental
- Ceratec/MSO2 meh
- Lucas/Seafoam/Rislone/Oil Extreme is very bad ?

I have only used cera tec on engines that have over 100k miles on them. It does make the engine run smoother for a while. Perhaps even reduces oil consumption by a bit. But nothing significant or measurable.

I would not add any additives to a brand new engine.
