I’m just wondering if anyone has any issues with your car when lowered with a drag pack? I’ve got Eibach springs and looking to get some Welds with 305/45/17. Any problems?

I run the h&r lowering springs with a set of 305/45/17 on welds and I have no issues with rubbing at all.

No issues with Swift springs on 305/35/17 MT E Street Rs. RIP your axles though. When you lower the car, and start to put power down from a dig, you really stress them with a change in suspension geometry.

Get on the list for DSS axles if you don't have them already.

Yea I know I’m going to need them. Even with the Street S/S I’ll break the axels that easily? Are there SLP components you recommend to correct the geometry?

I've seen stock axles break on an 11.1 car with a 1.6 60'.

As far as correcting the geometry? Na, not really. I'd just get on the list for axles.

So I need to get the axels with the drag pack. Then I can put a picture of my quarter panel on the internet, then I’m cool?

If you're untuned/on JB4 the inherent throttle closure may extend the life of your axles. A high 1.6 is the best I've been able to achieve and that is dead-hooking. I have 10 passes on the track and dozens of hits on the street.

*EDIT - I am not lowered

Ok that’s good to hear. I’m in the long process of switching over to ecutek so I’ll give it a shot while on the list for axels on my JB4. Hopefully the axels come by the time I’m tuned with ecutek
