I recently installed a full aero kit from Max Orido. I don't see a lot of these around, figured I'd share my experience with this.

Overall, the build is good. Fit and finish also good considering its aftermarket. The finish matches the OEM black trim. Personally I like this since it's subtle, fitting for a daily car between wife and I. It's also the ABS version - making it easier to fix compared to CF.

Enjoy some pics! Also created a video of the install here:

Would you be willing to share the cost of buying it locally and shipping it back during your trip vs. trying to source it through a vendor in NA?

For a lot of my JDM parts I find it a lot cheaper to have a broker buy them locally and ship them over as opposed to trying to get them here, has saved me literally thousands in some cases but I'm curious about the body kit stuff since they generally require large boxes to ship which raises the cost.

At the time, with the yen-dollar exchange rate, it was nearly 3x cheaper in some cases (including shipping cost). And I was there already so it was a no brainer. Shipping cost did fluctuate, but it around 500'ish usd in my case. It's a large box, but it was light - not sure how size vs. weight plays into the calculations.

Just adding some notes. We carry these stateside but shipping this kit even within the US is killer expensive. $350+.

I bought a kit last month picking up from Orido's shop, the box is big and fit just under air canada's oversize luggage, costing $240CAD. I got only the front lip kit and the rear spoiler for just over 100k Yen. I like the stock side skirts just as much and already have a verus rear diffuser. Tip, if you plan on picking up, make sure you fly with an airline that can carry it, and have a vehicle large enough to carry it, I rented a new corolla touring and it was 6cm too short so had to carry everything out of the box and keep the box folded until the airport. Also they are closed randomly so contact them on instagram before visiting.

What broker do you use? The only one I know about is Jesse Streeter, but have never used him myself.

For the full kit from RHDJapan, the shipping cost just as much as the whole kit itself. ($1500 with DHL) so I am looking for other solutions.

Looks awesome. If the CF wasn’t an edition for 2022. I would’ve gone with a red Supra with Orido’s aerokit as well.
I like how he designs the lip spoilers and etc. I like the simple stance look ?
