Wussup guys,

I am working with my mechanic to get a set of MCS coilovers installed, but we can't get the ride height within spec. The rear of the car is sitting too low, and it's at the adjustment limit, and the front of the car is sitting too high, with the same issue. Any insight would be much appreciated.

You can get some perch spacers. I had the same issue with the RSR coilovers. It's like some of these companies think everyone wants their shit slammed to the ground.

You may need to grind some material for it to seat properly, but it works and I never had a single issue with them.

If you have Coilovers and they are too low or too high on the maximum setting, the. You either installed wrong or somehow got the wrong product. There’s no possible way for this to happen on any non eBay/Chinese knockout Coilovers this is exactly why you buy Coilovers, so you can adjust the height just right.

please take pictures and post them, because a + b /= c here…

Here’s a picture of the MCS and the front of their car…. If yours look different, your mechanic doesn’t know what they are doing…

I got the height issue in the front. Spring is 7” and here is how it looks like. It did look different from the picture above.

Is your height too low or too high? If the locking collars are all the way down at the bottom of the threads, and your ride height is too tall, then remove the helper spring.

I had 6" front springs + helpers on my front so a 7" could possibly be too high if you're using helpers.

It is too high. I just got response from the shop, they sent me the wrong spring and replace with a 5” one. 🥲
