I don't think those stick out any less/more than the ZL1 ones I've got and don't use rivets which I'd stay away from personally

Anyone have these can comment on quality and durability? They’re more than twice the price of other brands, and they don’t stick out as much so I’m wondering how well they protect.

I use these on my ND, they are rubbery, not hard plastic. They work well, but I have these for my Supra, and are really nice and have the price. https://zl1addons.com/collections/r...a-standard-rock-guards?variant=31150515814463

Here are a couple of pics with the ZL1s on my car.

Hi, my car is used in those photos, and I have both the version 1 and version 2s. I've been stress testing them over the past year with tons of track days.

For the price, it's hard to honestly say yes to...but I would absolutely get these again for my next car. Higher quality than the zl1s (price reflects it), and IMO they fit a TON better.

In regards to them not sticking out as much -- They're adjustable to a point. So you can push them more inboard or outboard, depending on how much coverage you need. Mine in particular are maxed outboard for my track wheels.

My Z1s are loosing their fit/form/function in the rear. Is Mega chip what you are using now, referring to? Sorry but English is my 1st language and I suck at it.

Yes, I am using them. My review is not influenced by the fact that I was given a set to test and provide feedback on.

I genuinely think they're worth the price, after having used them in the real world. Track tested!

I'd been watching the Supra ones for a while but had a hard time accepting the price vs the ZL1 guards. Got a set for my golf R recently and the quality is great, coverage is good, I like the soft rubber construction too.

Definitely going ahead with the Supra ones now.

I've done 12,000km (7500m) and my Z1L rock guards seem to be holding up fine. I still think they are way too expensive for what they are but they're doing their job well enough. What's happening with yours and how many miles have you done?

My drivers rear was on solid and now flapping around. I think they are great for in town stuff. But for tracking, their profile is a bit wider than what I’m looking for. And I’m sure they’re not meant for high speed runoff into the grass or gravel. Like I do from time to time, when I really fcuk up ?

Megachip will survive :) I've had only one 4-off, but it was lots of sand. They did a dang goodjob protecting the sandblasting I was doing.
