Hey all, I bought an MST v2 intake off a forum member and didn’t realize it was missing a key piece. The metal hose barb for the PCV on the silicone inlet is gone. Unfortunately, I bought it back in October and just now installing it so highly unlikely the seller has it.

Does anyone know if this is something I can get at a hardware store? Any 3/4 barb will work? Hoping for a quick solution as I don’t feel like reinstalling the factory intake 🤣 I already reached out to MST if they can sell me that piece but that will take some time, if they are even willing to support…

guess
That breather is way too big. The port in the block is 1/4 inch.
Yeah, I just sent him an Amazon link as an example of what to order. When it comes to sizing, he or anyone else will need to do their own due diligence and take their own measurements, but good to know its 1/4".

Nice, didn't know you guys were discussing delete options.
At the time the Ross racing 90 degree banjo fitting and the CCV port cap were new and ridiculously priced, like 70 bucks for the valve cover fitting and 45 bucks for the CCV cap.

So I bought mine each for 35 bucks over here. Bought some cheap tubing and dumped to atmosphere down where the fuel and evap lines route up into the enginebay.

The valve cover fitting is gone or out of stock now, and Ross racing brought down the price since then. Ross might be a good option to consider if you're going catch can route.

Delete it completely and use a breather cap on the PCV

or

buy another
Thank you for the suggestions! Not a bad option just doing a PCV delete but I’d rather fix this inlet if I can…easier to cap it too with the barb in place. I’ve seen a bunch of hose barbs like that but I don’t think the OEM PCV connector would engage with the traditional style hose barbs. They are 3/4” OD as well, so I don’t think that stuff linked would work. That’s why I was asking if anyone had a part number for the one MST uses (I doubt they make it themselves but possible I guess). I’d rather not buy a whole other inlet just for that piece, and can just cut the stock one as last resort.

@RacerJohnny you can have it free, just pay shipping. shoot me your address (or come pick it up, South suburbs Chicago)

that’s awesome and very generous! I’ll send ya a DM! Did you cut the whole connector off?!? Or is that what happens when they break off?

I replaced the crankcase side with a breather. The intake side i believe i used a flush mount brass pex plug.
