Currently running a JB4 Map 2, FTP Charge Pipe, CAI, and FI Catback Exhaust on my 2021 Supra. Definitely has a nice bit of power compared to stock, but im itching to throw a bigger turbo and dp on it soon. Looking to make around 550-600 whp so I dont have to touch the tranny, and to make it still drivable on the road.

What is yalls opinion on an FI Downpipe + Pure800 on low boost? Will I need a more serious tune considering the jb4 is just a piggyback? I know a lot of guys run meth injection once they go bigger turbo, but id like to avoid messing with anything other than pump fuel since I drive long distance somewhat often. Or is this not worth it unless I wanna make over 600+ whp for the money?

A Pure800 setup is very, very drivable. You shouldn't have any issues there.

If you're post 6/20, your ECU is locked and JB4 is the only real option. The upshot is that it is proven to work with Pure800. I bet Jesse here could help you with mapping.

I don't think so but I defer to the experts. I think 550-600 whp on 93 should not be a problem at all. Mixing ethanol gets old really fast, especially in areas where it's not readily available.

without anything higher than 93 youd be looking around 480-500 whp on a pure. Meth can really help. The benfit to that is you dont need to run meth all the time. We can set up multiple custom maps so you can daily without meth and lower boost then switch the map to run the meth and turn up the power :) .

Let me know if you have any questions.

How does meth add power? I was told not to tune on meth for power but for only cooling.

It doesn't. What it does do is lower temperatures, and raise the tolerances much like a higher octane fuel or e85 will do. Because the car isn't knocking, you can then advance the timing and/or run more boost. That is 'where' the power comes from, generally speaking.

I can see that being an advantage on pump gas. I always thought that. I may have been told otherwise since I am running ethanol and ready have enough octanes and cooling from the fuel to run advanced timing and maximize boost. At which point meth will only keep temps down allowing peak power for extended time. Right?

The majority of people running meth are doing so because they don't have easy acess to e85 or don't want to be limited to it. The effect of meth and e85 will compound depending on what methanol you are using... as in not windshield washer fluid! Benefits in both octane reprieve and temperatures. Rarely both meth and flex are required in conjunction. People in that teritory would already be using ice boxes, lowering compression ratios and spraying down their intercoolers.

Your adding complexity, weight, consumables and cost. If you don't require it, keep it simple IMO.

+1 for Pure turbo 800

use the bm3 if possible and if not and your ECU is locked, the Jb4 is your next best option
