I've deleted my CDV and I too think it is better.. somewhat. The changes feel more reliable but ultimately, it doesn't conclusively change my opinion that the Supra's gearbox is quite mediocre.. especially compared to the one in my 16 year old Type R. 🤷‍♂️

I like the gear box on the new type R and Type S.

I might get the new DAW Turbo kit.

The new DAW 6466 would be a perfect fit for you. IMO they are much more quality turbos over PURE.

If I hadn't met both of you in the flesh, in the same room at the same moment, I'd be suspicious these two accounts were the same individual..

In the glory days of the 2A community explosion on Instagram (2013-2015) there was a business owner in Florida that ran two IG accounts; one for the business, and one for a spoof of an absolute clodpoll gun-enthusiast that were often at war with each other. It's literally all fun and games until you accidentally post something obvious from the wrong account 🤣

I have a 2 port Supra and I'm hesitating between the Daw flow max and the ultra flow R, I was told that the Ultra flow R is like a 6466. I want to have a 500-530whp car on 93 oct only. I would like to have a turbo that spools close to stock but I don't mind if it takes a little more time than stock to spool. I really want to have top end power and I don't want the power to fall off, I want power until red line and even 7k rpm. I know that the flow max spools really fast but I'm worried that I loose a little bit of power at the top end and I'm worried that the ultra flow R might take a little bit too much time to spool. Which turbo would be better to achieve my goals?

its because of the diffrence from 2 to 6 port

i just ordered the new DAW 6466 , 6 port version
like you im looking for good power on 93
i dont care about spool so much, i dont think a few hundred rpm in spool will be noticeable

Jesse, of the DAW turbos, which would you recommend if I want to JB4 tune on ethanol blend, but not upgrade the fuel system nor transmission? I'm open to installing meth injection. Can you do one of your custom JB4 tunes for this? Thanks

With meth or PI any of them. Without at least meth its going to be real hard to push them. The flow max works, but the hypercore is really a great solution for jb4 cars to make more power efficiently.

With a flex-it port injection 750cc injectors and ethanol mix, would you still recommend a hypercore? What wHP and torque would be expected?

Can I use me same aftermarket downpipe and aftermarket intake on these turbos? Or do I have to sell them and get new ones for this turbo. Also what size injectors would you recommend for this turbo
No you can use the same dp and intake.

FIC 1000 is generally my go to. They support everything the stock motor can really handle.

most turbos are direct fit and will connect to bolt on upgrades or even stock parts

I have 2023 MT and my goal to is similar to yours. I'm planning to get DAW turbo but I'm in between those options, DAW 6466 / DAW 6769 / DAW ULTRA FLOW-X ( 6 PORT ). My goal is 500+ Whp with 91 octane (95 RON) because it is the highest octane level in my country.
My current mods:
Catless downpipe
Full exhaust
Cold air intake filter
Charge pipe
Bootmod3
91 octane

which DAW turbo I should go with? ULTRA FLOW-X ( 6 PORT ) or 6466 or 6769
let say I went with 6769, does that mean I can squeeze more power and get more WHP than 6466 and ULTRA FLOW-X with my current mods?
and how many WHP I would gain with replacing OEM turbo with DAW turbos with 91 octane and my current mods?
