Any update on how they got rid of the light?Appointment schedule at the dealer on the 6th. I'll update regarding the issue/fix.
The service advisor was aware of an issue with the parking sensors but not the amber flashing parking brake warning.
Let's see how it goes.
The dealer didn’t charge you for it? Yours still under warranty?Just picked the car up. Tech said he just needed to reinitialize the parking brake. The scan showed code 0x4807BF (Parking brake: Initialization not performed).
As for the side parking sensors... there is no issue the supra uses the front and rear sensors to clear the side view, as such the areas appear and dissappear as the vehicle moves.
So if you know how to reinitialize your parking brake, that should solve the issue.
I tried previously to put the parking brake in service mode then reactivate but that didn't work.
Easy fix at the dealer, cost me $0 just my time.
