Damn that sucks! Curious what shop you use since I‘m local as well. You can PM me if you don’t want to post it publicly.

I have a JB4 and was told I could keep it at Map 2 safely (catless dp & AWE exhaust and a few other minor cooling goodies). Makes me think twice ?
I was also told Map 2 was safe too. (injen intake, Active Autowerke Catted DP, AWE Track exhaust). I'm at 50K miles.

Good to know. Thx brother ?

I don’t use Map 2 anywhere else but in town and rarely get on her hard. Guess that Femto unlock is the way to go. When it’s off (track) season, I’ll consider it. I just don’t want her overheating on track w/out an upgraded manifold. Especially with that fantastic engine working just fine. Besides I’m unintentionally becoming an expert at finding the limits (breaking) of my suspension parts at her base power. So, I’ll be busy (& broke ? ) for a while. And… haven’t even rebuilt the Ohlins yet. I’m surely due for that as well ? ?

I just don’t want it overheating on track or be forced to get a manifold. When my car works just fine now. Besides my suspension parts I’m really good a breaking ?
Same, I'm only on it hard occasionally. Femto unlock is definitely the move. However, It's outta my ball park. I think I'll just stick with JB4 maps; no more than a custom map tune via Jessie I believe. Car already makes plenty power as is (no dyno numbers yet; just a butt dyno).

Would be interesting to collect data on the failures over time to see if there's a discernible pattern, like torque level and/or whether the transmission has been tuned, that correlates with earlier failure of either giubo or the crt bearing.
