Clutch Masters failed me

It seems that Clutch Masters is denying a redund.

The vendor A90shop that I bought the clutch kit from is trying his best to get me a refund and he is still trying with them.

My vendor is still trying to get a refund as well, clutch masters tried to tell them that I have a line that was pinched during install. Luckily my mechanic is top notch and took a video of the entire process with pictures of the lines setup. But obviously they don't want to see a video that proves they're wrong.

that’s so sad,
your chances of getting a refund should be more than mine if your mechanic took a video while installing.
in worst case scenario if they didn’t refund me, at least most of the MK5 owners knows how bad Clutch Masters products and their useless customer service.

I'm at around 1k miles on the HRB with 0 issues so far. Not sure if I'm just lucky or is my time is is also coming soon ?

Might consider removing it before failure

It’s possible that they rectified the issue without announcing it.

all the early adopters blew quickly, even the ones installed by CES Motorsport

Good news here guys, the vendor that I order the clutch kit from which is A90shop has refunded me the clutch release bearing and the surface lock. The guy from A90shop has trying his best to refund me but Clutch Masters was refusing to refund me at the beginning. I really appreciate A90shop for their support and I'm pretty sure that A90shop had struggled a lot with Clutch Masters customer service. I just got refunded a days ago. Thanks to A90shop they are very friendly and responsive with me, really appreciate it. I'm sure that if I had ordered from Clutch Masters directly, I will not get any refund.

Good to hear some good news ? How is the PTB clutch doing so far? I got the PTB clutch with the DMF. I put the clutch on a few weeks ago, And I am thankful for your advice. This clutch for me is silent, and is an absolute game changer. Im am so happy that you made this post. Great carbon engine bay mods. Your car looks fantastic.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that. Ces Motorsport seem to be distancing themselves from clutchmaster's failures and instead are promoting PTB. On The mikan special edition at CES, they didn't even mention clutchmaster's as an option. I think that probably speaks for itself.

So far so good, 1200 miles on PTB clutch.

- Two track days so far and I really push the car so hard, the clutch is perfect feels like OEM nothings wrong with it even when I pushed it so hard on the track.
- I travelled by the car as well with PTB clutch, still nothing wrong.
- I have two track days this week and the next one.

It's really a game changer !
Still can't believe that the clutch pedal feels like OEM
