Catless downpipe, cold air intake & AWE track exhaust with Jessie dialing me in. The engine is way less choppy & power more linear. I haven’t done a dyno but damnnnnnn she feels like a beast with much better control. This is exactly what I was looking for! And Jessie sent me another update last night he wants me to do. I’m loving it ?

My useless opinion goes as follows, if you aren’t using a custom tune don’t go outside of map 1/2 on 93 octane, I wouldn’t trust any E blend or that fancy stuff without a custom tune.

Maps 1 and 2 are more aggressive than maps 5 and 6 for the Supra.
This isn't quite true, and not how the JB4 works. It's more of an 'it depends.'

From another comment of mine:

Absolute vs Relative boost addition.

Map0: Stock tuning, fully disable JB4
Map1: Additive map with peak of 3psi over stock added (91 octane)
Map2: Additive map with peak of 4psi over stock added (91-93 octane)
Map3: Additive map with peak of 6psi over stock added (93+ octane)
Map4: Absolute target map with peak of 20psi target (93+ and/or E30 octane)
Map5: Absolute target map with peak of 22psi target (E30+ fuel)

Maps 4 and 5 have absolute boost targets. Meaning they target say 20psi or 22psi respectively.

Additive or Relative maps add boost to whatever you have. Map 3 for example is much more "risky" than map 4. A target of 20psi is sane, but on map 3, if the ECU is attempting to reach 16psi (Low DA, great fuel, no knock, whatever), JB4 is going to request 22psi.

That sounds amazing. I brought the time got the email with instructions but my meth kit hasn't shown up yet. Are you on pump or Eblend

E35 was the sweet spot for me running a Jesse tune and BMS meth kit with dual injection of full meth. Never did dyno but I have slayed lots of fast cars with it so that's really all that mattered to me.

Best perspective I could have appreciate you and letting me know your experience. Think my pump tune I'll run without meth. And do the same blend you did. I do not think I have steel braided lines to run full meth. Believe it's only one Nozzle but I can order another and get revisions done. ??????

Why would you say go with maps 1 and 2 and not 4 and 5 when in some cases map 1 and 2 are more aggressive than map 4 or 5

I agree with the statement if it said to stay away from map 3 btw

I got all of my PTFE braided lines and PTFE fittings from Summit racing. They have everything you will need to switch over to 4an PTFE braided lines from the nylon one. The brand I used for the lines and fittings are Vibrant and they have worked flawlessly. I hope that helps you more.

What kind of updates?
Map 6 custom revisions (updates) from Jessie. I do full throttle pulls from 30-80 or 40-100mph and send him the logs. I wouldn’t have a clue how to program all those settings. He’s very specific and helpful on how to plug in the values (update my custom map 6).

Pump 93 octane for me. Just not something I’m ready to mess with, yet ?

I just run Map1 on mine on 93 octane. It's fast enough for me.. too fast for the stock tires without nanny control..

You mean more aggressive than maps 4 and 5. Map 6 is a custom map, it can be either an additive map or an absolute map. Depends on how you set it up.
