if it works for you, yes. the enable hasn't worked for everyone oddly.

Great work to all involved. Noticed when changing volume u dont get the indication on screen. And the arrows when navigation are those only on newer models i have the 6wb cluster

f series not working is a known issue. f and g series work in two different ways from what I can tell.

you're also running an out of date version. volume knob is implemented but in testing.

Successful install on my '26. Very easy with the tools here.

• This unlocked SSH successfully on mine: https://ssh.bavarian-aa.uk/ Windows Defender can pick this up and quarantine, so just watch for that.
• Then used the automated installer from Turbocode for the install. https://turbocode.shop/nbt-evo-android-auto/

I did need to remove/re-pair my phone. Make sure you have the phone unlocked when it connects to AA the first time so you can accept the messages.

But if it goes wrong, use the Turbocode tool to extract the log files, throw them into whatever AI you want, point AI to the source git page and tell it to figure out what you did wrong

Also worth noting for folks, TurboCode is not bleeding edge, it's on a known stable version.

Layer management sucks, so the volume pill is a work in progress.

truth be told, there's a lot.

off the top of my head:
- moving off of the apple Carplay layer (small one, not a big one)
- completely switching over to WiFi for audio (big ish one as media info isn't currently sent over WiFi, so you lose hud/iDrive song metadata)
- finishing hiding AA when all safety messages are triggered (e.g. limp mode)
- figuring out why AU and ME headunits don't want to cooperate
- better support for non Carplay models
-maybe main menu integration
- better favorite integration
probably a few other things.

if you export driver profile to usb, it'll be on there. We've had no issues on the Supras so far.

There was a couple without apps coded that has led to install not succeeding but it not succeeding hasn't caused issues.

You should be able to install regardless of the version.
