All jokes aside, I don't know anyone that can't drive a car with a clutch. It's just a car. If driving an "auto" is so easy, aaaaall those peeps are welcome to hit up a race track and post their times (unshaved monkey data):

I'm just taking the piss, but I stand by the fact that driving a manual is a genuine skill and one that fewer and fewer people posses. And just as an aside, a lot of people who claim they can drive a manual, really can't as they seem to go though clutches like handbags.

in the realm of things that require some skill to do, driving a car with manual transmission is by far the one that gets the biggest and most ridiculously inflated importance.

The epitome of first world problems (and this is one that really belongs to the US) is to think that driving a manual transmission makes you automatically gifted or smarter.

I was born and grew up outside of Murica in the 80s where there were no Automatic cars. I have a cousin. That guy is as dumb as a rock. HE WOULD DRIVE a damn 1981 Renault that had an H type of transmission up and down the Andean mountains, which by the way, are real mountains, not like the ones we have here. We all learned to do that when we were young kiddos.

Do you realize that outside of the US, chances are, people drive manual cars and don't think they are somehow special? It is just an issue of availability. Less people know how to drive manual transmission, just because those cars are not as common as the automatic ones. Switch the market and you would have everyone just doing fine driving their manual cars. It has nothing to do with any special miracle gift that you think you possess.

Welcoming myself back to my third Supra. Previously owned a Rennaisance Red Auto, CU Later Grey A91-MT Edition and now, another CU Later Grey A91-MT Edition. Had regrets for never tracking my previous Supras, so I wanted to experience it again and see where it goes.

I taught my kid in 10mins. Not the easiest car to learn in, either. Definitely not rocket science.

Joined last October! Made an account when it came out but couldn’t get over the zf fart and no manual. Found out mid last year they made them manual a few years back. So it was added to my cars I was looking to get as my retirement car, it beat them all for me. I love this car.

I've finally officially joined the club and purchased a Supra. I've been thinking about it for quite some time. This is my first Supra, but I'm not new to the Yoda community. I was big into the Celica scene in the 2000's when the 7th gen's came out. I was the Owner/founder of "Team Celica" and ran that for about 6 years and had an extremely modified Celica. I also own a fully built out FJ Cruiser Overlander. I spent my first weekend working on a few mods and driving it around getting used to it. I'm absolutely in love with driving again. It's such a fun car, but OMG does everyone in the world want to race you.
