2023 Supra 3.0 Premium MT
Hi all,

I'm back! I sold my 2023 6MT premium and bought a 2024 Z06 in October 2024. Missing a manual transmission, I sold the Z06 before it depreciated even more and bought a 2026 atmosphere 6MT base model. I thought it was a premium, drove 3 hours to another state, and saw it had alcantara seats. Quickly did research and found out the only thing I was really missing with it being a manual base with technology package was the HUD. After initially being thrown off, I ended up buying it anyway since it was the last new blue Supra in a reasonable drive from me. I really like the alcantara seats after having full leather in the 2023 and then in the Z06.

I miss the sound of the FPC on the Z06 and the fact the Z06 was a targa top but I swear the Supra is more fun more of the time. I'm obviously a diehard manual transmission fan and the Supra's power is more usable. The Z06 was stupid fast but the power was all up top so it didn't have that torquey feel to it like the Supra does. I'm not a great driver and even after going to the Spring Mountain driving school and having a Z06 on track, I would never get used to that thing's limits. The Z06 was also an absolute unit and massive in comparison and I really enjoy driving a car that is the Supra"s size. I have to break the Supra in first but it was fun being able to kick the back end around super easily and on command with the Supra. The Z06 has amazing traction and stability control systems but I was always anxious trying to do those little fun maneuvers in the Z06 with it being so big. It was also bright fricken blue (beautiful color though) and super loud so it was hard not to get spotted trying shenanigans and that ended up being a deterrent.

This is all to say that I'm glad to back! I see a lot has happened in the 20 months or so since I sold my 2023 Supra. The side benefit to this is I'll probably end up with a Type R or an Integra Type S as my daily and/or I'll start doing OEM+ mods to the Supra to keep the warranty intact for now.
