Similar in design, but components are largely bespoke.Slightly off topic, but didn't the A70 and A80 also share a lot of components?
i was under the impression that a lot of parts were borrowed from the Soarer/SCSimilar in design, but components are largely bespoke.

If you are implying the next generation of Supra will ride on a similar platform, I would say I would agree. To make money from these sales they had to co-develop with BMW and even then the life cycle is likely long to recoup the costs. So the next Camry is reportedly going to be a heavily updated version of the current car. Most likely new sheet metal and interior. Toyota sells about 300k a year in the US. If Toyota is taking this approach towards its bread and butter then I don't think it's that crazy to think a niche product like the next-gen A100 will be constructed the in a similar manner.

Haven't they basically moved everything to Motomachi? They'd need to renew their contract with Magna if the next-gen Supra will be a heavy revision of the current gen.. unless you think the production elsewhere..
Ewww, just say no to the EVs.
