OBDEleven now supports Supras, does anyone have one to see if they have any features that Bimmercode does not?

I saw this post today: Facebook post.
It appears that similar to Bimmercode, this device has an app that allows you to code in features that are available in other cars. The catch is that enabling these features cost 'tokens', which can vary depending on what you enable. Here is a video of a guy explaining how the device & app works: Video
They have yet to release a list of all of their available options, so I wonder if anyone has it for another one of their cars so that they can tell us what is available. I'm hoping that they might have more options than Bimmercode, since having more options will net them more money.

edit: Here is a link from their website on what they support: https://obdeleven.com/how-to-upgrad...WQZpkWrARf-7yXm80d3edxfUmTk7MkMju_Agu44-dQRQt

Can it code out auto start/stop that Bimmercode can't?

I'd pay for that

Same. I just recently got the car, so I havent bought a Bimmercode adapter yet. Waiting to hear more info on OBDEleven before I decide on one.

i use OBDEleven for my GTI and it a nice app but yeah, you'll end up spending 10-20 bucks on credits to do the coding "apps" if you don't hard code it yourself. I wonder what options it will have compared to Bimmercode.

Probably not. I wrote to Bimmercode a while back and this what they said:

Recent changes made by BMW to the engine software cause this coding not having an effect any longer and at the moment there is no fix available unfortunately.

They’ve released a list of what features are supported: https://obdeleven.com/how-to-upgrad...WQZpkWrARf-7yXm80d3edxfUmTk7MkMju_Agu44-dQRQt

Notable on this list is auto start / stop memory and carplay fullscreen.
I’m a bit skeptical because they included things like sunroof options and heating steering wheel when the car doesnt have one. Maybe they copied it straight from the Z4 page?
@razorlab have you had a chance to check out the features?

Not a Corvette.
Full screen carplay is BS unless you do ISTA update.

Everything else you can do with bimmercode without paying for that BS feature gating behind a paywall that OBDeleven does.

I’m skeptical as well, but since we have the ability to check it out, could we take a look at it before scrapping the whole thing? It would be great if we could collectively as a community go through all of the options and see which one works/doesnt work. If the start-stop memory feature works as expected, I would be willing to purchase the device.

It’s not going to work. It is not possible to (FDL) code start/stop on cars with i-step 03/2023 and newer. I’m all for validating, but I wouldn’t spend money on it.

PS: Markets outside the US may allow for successful coding, it is all up to BMW.

Small update — I caved and bought the device. Seems like the auto start-stop memory is in the same boat as Bimmercode:

I’ll do an updated post with all of the options that are included
