Im going on 1000 mile road trip tomorrow. Car has 4950 miles on it. Should be able to get a good idea of MPG. Getting its first oil change from Toyota when we reach destination.

MPG is dependent on so many factors. Temperature, altitude, level or hilly roads, tire pressures, and most importantly, driving habits. I remember a test Old Top Gear did with a Prius and an M3. Prius went balls out, M4 just had to keep up with the Prius. M4 was much more efficient. Advertised MPG to me is a ballpark figure. I never get close lol.

The car definitely is geared well with it's overdrives. I have been driving cross country a lot, and averaging great fuel economy.

950 miles from Chicago suburbs to Dallas Suburbs netted me 32mpg. Radar cruise control at 75-80mph average. Overall, very impressive!

Now that I know how to reset my trip odometer, lol, I am going to do just like with my FJ Cruiser for the entire time I have had it, check at each fillip, what millage I am actually getting. On my FJ, I get from 18 to 22 and normally 21 and many guys get 16 to 18, so I may driver lighter than some, but hard not to enjoy the Supra just a little bit more. :^)
I have an FJ, too!

Yes, now the FJ feels very sluggish when I drive it. lol I have a 2012 in Blue. The Supra is one fun car to drive. I wouldn't mind 50 to 100 more HP but won't go for the 21, spent enough already. :^)

Looking on fuelly, there are a few who report their mileage on there (I use it for mine and my wife's cars) and here are the numbers that people are reporting. To get more detailed info, would have to click on each car, but you can see how many fill ups each is reporting.

The EPA's FuelEconomy.gov has just listed 2020 Supra 6-cylinder and it gets 24 mpg city, 31 mpg highway and 26 mpg combined!

Impressive figures considering the four-cylinder BMW Z4 only gets one more city and highway mpg and two more combined mpg, but down down 80hp / 70 lb-ft compared to the 6 cylinder Supra.

I’ve been getting 28-29! . Maybe I’m driving too slow!

On the freeway I get around 32 to 33 MPG, which surprised me in a good way. Around town, even using the sport mode, I get around 22 to 23.

My tires have been at 32psi since buying my car almost a month ago, maybe that's why the two times I filled up my trip was at 160 miles lol. One tire was at 28psi this morning which prompted the tpms to go off, filled all 4 up to 38 so we'll see what that does to my mpg.
