Sorry, dude. Not sure how I missed those. Will next weekend affect any of the above?
Its all good! And maybe. Depends how well I do. It will be for the Vegas track if it changes.

This one needs to be added too. Chuckwalla CW. Note that the Chuckwalla time above is running CCW.

Are we labeling it as "Manual Supra"? ;) Also: Please post a screen shot of the lap time, from a credible source/timing/etc.

Updated!

I vote we dub MT Supras as "Manly Transmission" Supras.

Great work guys. I keep saying it, but it's true: Ya'll have me kinda bummed that I never modded my car. They are so FAST with just a few parts.

so what is the auto Supras?! U might have started something here!

Yea just a few parts really. Get the parts now kaj! I am just now bonding with the car because of the parts that make it feel how I want it. Still a way to go chasing what my old cars felt like

I always liked "flappy paddles" :p. The never-ending battle. LOL.

Are you having trouble getting this car to drive like the old one? That sounds like a tall order. I went from an Evo to the Supra so had to make a lot of self-adjustments. I don't think any amount of changes would have made them drive the same, but I didn't think to try. I like learning a new platform, so probably why I left the Supra stock (other than wheels/tires). That would also explain why my track cars progressed from FF -> AWD -> RF to now I'm in a MR car. All sooo different and fun to learn with. I do miss the Supra, though. It embarrassed a lot of modded cars. If I had the garage space, I'd probably buy a 2.0 and see how fast it would go (though I think it would also be a major project and money pit).

Yea def a tall order. I just want to make everything stiffer, more mechanical with the shifter, replace mounts/bushings etc. That way it's a little more fun to drive around town, and even more connected on track. Just personal preference yknow?
Idk why, but I saw a 2.0 for a stupid price and was def curious how it drives. And when that happens, i might just buy it lol

Not a Corvette.

Biggest issue with the 2.0 is the open rear diff with no ability to option the 3.0 active diff like you can in the EU. If it had an LSD, I think we would see much more of them on track and autox.

Oh, I hear ya. I mistook "drive like my old car" to mean "handle like my old car". :confused1: Now I understand. I get it. It's why my current track car was built in 2000. I feel 10x more than I did with the Supra (though it's a lot slower). My man issue with the 2.0 is what razorlab mentioned. I don't want anything electronic but if there was a robust mechanical LSD setup avail, I'd consider it.

I don't think we have the Big Willow (Willow Springs Road Course)track for lap times yet. Figure I start it out?

1) "Big Willow", Rosamond, CA
2) 1:31.5
3) 5/2/2026
4) Verus UCW Swan Neck Wing, Racebred 5" Splitter, HKS Hipermax R, Pmu 999, TWS RS317 (18x11)
5) Nankang CR-S V1 275/40/18
