I actually bought this. I felt it might improve the boring cluster a bit and honestly it did. The red actually matches perfect with the red leather interior so it looks factory.

I did it now, I caved to my own rice…

I had to buy one to try out, should be here this weekend.

I've wanted that thing forever too, just never felt like coughing up the required amount of dough.

@BillyLong42 I received mine today and put it on. I got the rice cooker out and put in some red food coloring. As you said the workmanship is too notch. You can grab the exact same product on eBay for $50 shipped as well, @FuzzyRev85

It comes in a Blu Ray style clamp case with a foam protection just like a reputable manufacturer would provide. It comes in a few different colors yellow for example and fit and finish is impressive. Nearly invisible at night and really makes the tach pop during the day. I apologize I didn’t grab a daylight picture but you can still see it pops even in my garage with the light out at dusk. Happy with the purchase for those that may be looking for a little rice in their life.

Stuff like this always gets me. Like, I bet if you had a blacked out wide body MKV, with super deep-dish wheels, looking like the bat mobile, this would actually look pretty cool for that style. But people (on all cars) run crazy rear diffusers and it just doesn't match the style of the rest of the car.

Car customization is really a personal decision. Any aftermarket product could be considered rice that is of cosmetic nature and doesn’t add performance by the general definition of rice. As car enthusiasts we have a critical eye, the traditional rice has been very finely woven into todays trends as just 20 years ago rice was acceptable and the in style. Just mod your car for you and at the end of the day it doesn’t matter. I posted a rice product earlier in the thread I ended up buying and I think it looks fantastic. To each their own it’s still fun to call questionable car mods out though. If they think enough car people will buy something then they will make and sell it to us.

Your clear reflectors are done tastefully. It’s the light them up feature that make them bad to many. You obviously didn’t like the color reflectors either as you swapped them for the clear.
