One other thing to consider about a 3-stage paint colors and metallics. Successful paint matching. Some colors require more work to get the tint and lay correct.

I personally like the contrasts of black trim parts vs non-black body color.
(for sure you can paint those, but not sure how a complete red side skirt would look on a black car)

Obviously per GR logo, black and red are the featured colors.

On a black car with black skirts/etc., fake or not vents, such body features imho gets lost. You could call that blending in, but not to me..
I also did own a black car, for sure bitch to keep clean.
I'm also not a fan someone who would black out the whole car or smoke tail lights, but I do like when people do so with taste..

2021 A91 Supra Refraction Blue
Since you're asking for opinions, here's my personal rationale to choosing mine. Lol.

Refraction Blue - this is stunning! However, since it's only 498 of them, I'd be anal about keeping it protected and stock since it's a limited series. I'd be more afraid of daily-ing it. The interior contrasting blue stitching is also a very nice touch! I'd make sure it had the OEM spoiler too though as it's meant to have the spoiler, A91 stripes and black wheels - which I couldn't replace either. I find it heartbreaking to "mess around" and modify a limited series/production version of a model, but to each their own. It's special already - why not keep it that way. But my plans were always to do some mods - both performance and visually. However, the A91 was just an article on a webpage when I bought my '20 last summer, so my choice was limited to dealer stock. Plus, for some reason, my friend bought a similar blue SUV, my neighbor bought a similar blue truck and my college friend bought a similar blue Audi S5. It seems to be a popular shade nowadays. I'm glad Toyota decided to add some unique flairs - black wheels, spoiler, striping - to it to separate the A91 from the A90. It's definitely special.
I know what you mean. I have a Refraction Blue and OEM+ is all I am doing (Tint, spacers, lowered, little easily reversible things). But I will admit, I never go much farther than that anyways. ESPECIALLY if Toyota ever releases a special edition brown MK5...then I need my current MK5 to be readily available for a quick trade-in lol.

Blue is my favorite but doesn’t come with HUD. Black, to me doesn’t look good on the Supra. I’d go with Yellow if I were you because it’s a more special color. Just beware that it attracts bugs.

Whatever you do. Don’t stick to the two tone wheels lol. Get them powder coated at the very least

I owned a bright Velocity Yellow Vette and bugs were attracted to it, BIG TIME. Bees came out of nowhere. They must have thought it was a huge flower or something? Lol.

I chose light silver since it shows all the lines and curves of the car. All the colors look amazing really! Whichever one you decide with just make sure you get some PPF done to the whole front!

If you plan on keeping the car a very long time, you may want to avoid yellow, I think it still has a tendency to fade after time. Silver is a nice color, that hides dirt very well, especially after it rains. I have the dark blue which is not available in 2021, and it shows the dirt after it rains.
