Just had my stock wheels powdered. I was looking for more of a bronze than gold but I still quite like this color. Though I'm going to put a gloss clear coat on top to get some more shine, I'm not the biggest fan of satin.

Here are some pics in and out of direct sun:

It was about 650 or something around that total for all four wheels with mount/unmount. They gave me a small discount because they punctured one of the tires during the mounting process and had to delay getting them back to me by about a week ?

They look good, it grabs your attention at first glance.

Just sent a deposit to order the triple bronze powder. Iā€™m being charged $700 and that includes a road force balance. I canā€™t wait.

Has anyone tried the all polished look?
Iā€™ve been waiting for someone to post a set. Polished aluminum was all the hype back in the day. I donā€™t even remember how many jars of Mothers Metal polish I went thorough back then. ?

It would take a brave soul with thick skin to do it.

Stock wheels sprayed with Hyperdip Anthracite Grey. Well worth the $85 spent. I canā€™t wait to put them on. ?

This reminded me of when I painted my wrx wheels using the envelope cards like you have in your photo and some spray cans.

Looks like I will do this again in the future with the Supra wheels.
Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see them on the Supra.

The hyperdip paints have really improved over the years. When people see my wheels they think theyā€™re powder coated. You would never know unless I told you.

The coats go on thick and some even have metal flakes to give that depth look. Plus I follow the hot water and bucket method with two cans. I then alternate them to keep a warm can spraying at all times. This is the key to a smooth finish.

Iā€™ve done 4 cars with them and all get compliments from people.
