I put in for custom plates the week after I picked up my Supra. They told me they are running 16 to 20 weeks for personalized plates to be made, possibly even longer for nonstandard personalized plates (which is what I requested).

I figure I'll have my plates by the summer I hope...

Reserved "5150MKV" back in September (one month after buying the car / the day my permanent plates came in). DMV site said the personalized plates were 4 months out at the time of ordering and I'm still patiently waiting. Refuse to change the temp paper plate until the personalized ones arrive
