For a matte car, the most important think is taking care of the paint. The weather over here is hot and the roads are full of sand and small rocks, so I decided to wrap my car with XPEL's Stealth PPF. I'm happy with the installation and how the car looks (see the pictures in the first post and the third & fourth pictures in this post) but the front bumper was a pain in the *** to install.

It's not perfect, but I'm okay with it. I highly recommend installing it if you have a matte A90 Supra. I also used XPEL's Ultimate Plus for the headlights, lower part of the side mirrors and front pillars since they are glossy.

Injen Evolution intake arrived yesterday and installed :nixon: (did not expect a huge box)

No sound difference since the exhaust is loud inside the cabin, but I do feel the car is a bit more responsive. I wanted an open air intake but with the hot and sandy weather over here makes it a big risk.

Now waiting for the charge pipe which I pre-ordered 3 weeks ago from Speed Industry. :banghead:

Rexpeed rear painted spoiler arrived, it came painted in Nocturnal Black. There is no option to choose any other colors expect the ones that are offered from the dealer (no matte gray as well).

The packaging is ok (could have been better), the spoiler came damaged on the right. Fortunately I found someone who can fix it. I also wrapped it in XPEL Stealth PPF insteas of painting it matte black. Overall im very happy with the results!

XPEL sent me this amazing gift package, a big thank you to them and their marketing manager!

I will use the Ceramic Boost bottle that they have sent on the Stealth PPF on my car.

UI like most of the mods you are doing, and while I am not a fan of 99% of the rear spoiler additions, this one looks good. Nice work so far.

Finally got Froge chargecooler radiator installed, the packaging was fantastic! it's around two inches shorter but much thicker. I stallation was a breeze and the only thing that sucked was the removal and reinstallation of the bumper. Frostox HT-12 coolant was used (which is the OE coolant that came with the car).

A good upgrade especially that I live in a hot country

Koyorad remote radiators also installed, used the same green coolant which is Frostox HT-12. Installatiob was easier butbthe wheels and wheel cover must be removed.

Note that there is no manual included.

Are you planning on tracking the car, or are most of these mods of this nature (as opposed to aesthetics) just because you live in a hot climate? I live in Phoenix Arizona, and this year already we hit 145 days over 100 degrees, and 53 days of 110 and over. Even at that, unless I start taking the car on the track frequently, I would be reluctant to make these types of mods. Also curious, are you taking any extra precautions for dust/sand? With the dust storms and weather we have here, I am considering options for that that will not negatively impact performance.

Temps during the summer range between 113 - 122 F (45 - 50c) .. i wont use my car on a track but im trying to keep the engine and temps at safe levels because I will be tuning the car. I also have a bad habit of pushing the car (mostly accelerating from a traffic light), thankfully its not my daily use car and wont be using it during bad weather.

Thanks, that makes sense. I just checked, and we had over 14 days this summer where the temp was over 115. At one point, we did not drop below 90 degrees for a record 28-NIGHT stretch during the summer. This month however, it dropped from over 100 degrees one day to 70 the next, like it saw a police officer. LOL
With all of this care to protect your car, it sounds as if you are indeed looking at very long term ownership. Enjoy it!

Installed OLM LE carbon fiber still door cover today, looks great! It came in a huge box but not protected well enough, they used paper instead of a bubble wrap, one of the still covers came damaged on the side but it's okay. I also wrapped them in XPEL PPF to avoid scratches.

AWE Touring Resonated exhaust installed, wasn't easy finding anyone shipping this exhaust toy country. Installation was a breeze expect for aligning the tips which is a bit tricky.

Packaging is 0 out of 10, the pipes abd mufflers are just thrown in a big box and ready for shipping, you will see a fair amount of scratching on the pipes and bends especially to the small hangars on the mufflers which the AWE plate gets installed on. In my case I also got a small dent on the resonator but it's not an issue. This have been reported couple of times on the forums and I believe it was reported to AWE directly but they still didn't change anything.

For sound, 10 out of 10! Can't believe how great this exhaust sounds, it is loud! Louder than AFE Takeda exhaust when stationary and when cruising on normal mode, the exhaust sound is also louder inside the cabin. 100% satisfied!

The main advantages of AFE Takeda exhaust is its much lighter, quieter on normal mode, and no mufflers hanging near the ground. Other than that installation, quality, airflow and sound goes for AWE hands down. (The 5" black tips is also a big plus and look great!)
