A buddy of mine rebarrel'd his stock wheels... i'm planning to do this too because the stock wheels don't look bad, i just wished they were more aggressive, and then he did this. I'm in love now. :)

Now this, I like... Reminds me of my Gnosis on my G35C long time ago.

I’ve never heard of re-barreling. What is that?

I've never heard of it on one-piece wheels... but it's what it sounds like - putting new barrels on the old hubs (spokes? center-pieces?). On two/three piece wheels it's a "simple" matter of ~200 bolts with thread-locker being unscrewed and then re-screwed. Not sure how confident I'd be doing it to forged one-piece wheels though, but I'm not an expert. It does look nice and you could easily go wider and adjust offsets to be more aggressive.

On a related note, I dare someone to run these on their MKV:

Starting up this thread again, but was wondering...do you know where he got his red toyota center caps? I have been looking for something like that. Ones that fit the OEM wheel!

I'm pretty sure the chrome trims on the center caps are removable.... just paint the center caps to what ever red you want and reinstall. I don't know of any Supra from factory coming with red center caps from toyota.

Sooooooooooo much better than black or grey coating from factory. Helps the brakes appear and draws the eye nicely. Black is like rolling on 4 pieces of coal. Zero contrast. Fine for the track.
Agreed i love it! I have my te’s for a track setup now but for the street running this!

The big question on this post is, how was this done, chemical ?(what kind, and process) sandblasted ? And final polishing?
