Also have EPC deliver both of my ECUs on the 13th :)
Sadly mine is only partial unlock. Really wanted the flex capability but couldn’t find a donor ecu. So I’ll just do custom e50 and use ots 93 if I ever need to do long trip. Ordering fuel-it kit soon to monitor %

Got super lucky with mine, as anyone who finds one does. I'm glad, buy once cry once kinda thing for this. Excited to see the change from JB4.

I look forward to the MHD gains as well. Need to install that armaspeed intake I got from you, also have CTS charge pipe to install.

Absolutely! Both of those are pretty straight forward. I have to grab a catless downpipe and flex fuel kit once these return

Partial is honestly enough if you stay stick turbo. If i was planning on keeping the car long term I’d spend the money in a clone but I’m going back to a vette in a year probably

Im planning on doing the partial unlock with Femto after the holiday delivery rush. I am debating on just working directly with Femto via DHL or having the gentleman take it over directly.

I believe sending with DHL you have a recourse if something happens to your item, versus if someone is stopped in customs when flying and your items are seized for whatever reason and it is 500 dollars more expensive.

Any thoughts/feedback?

You do not have recourse. You cannot insure the packages because of customs/duty/import fees. Declared Value must be ~$50 of the package.

@MisterSkiz I’ve heard the opposite based on folks experiences. Your DHL package can possibly get lost or held over in customs. Seen some guys say it took 2months because customs. EPC, who hand carries seems to not had any issues going airport route.

For what? In Finland, of all places? No one is going to stop someone from bringing in personal property, even if it is electronics. How do you think musicians get around? Software/hardware engineers? Has no one on this forum traveled before?

@zrk is correct!! There’s nothing wrong w carrying electronics. ECUs aren’t illegal ? Now if he was carrying a huge amount of unclaimed cash and filled out his customs form falsely, definitely story. I’ve gone thru customs few times coming back from overseas deployments and trips w all sorts of electronics and even overseas alcohol, Cuban cigars. Customs never bothered taking any of it.

Thanks for the feedback guys - how would I get in contact with this person who takes the ECUs? Do they have an account on this forum?

They don't, but they're pretty active on Facebook.
