There are quite a few of us that have it.
Just seeing that now after digging in the forum a little more. Surprised nobody talk about their experience in this particular thread. How has it been for you so far? Is turbo spool louder than your previous setup?

I went from stock turbo to t-51r 65 omega so it definitely is louder. I only have 1500 miles on the turbo so far, but I have had 0 problems so far. I know some of the guys have many more miles with 0 issues. Spool is just like stock but with way more power.

There is at least one in Australia.
Apparently it is not right hand drive friendly, required a fair bit of work to make it fit.

It didn't require much, actually. One RHD guy reported that he had to modify the steering column, but some subsequent RHD installs proved that was an unnecessary step and it fits okay without modifying anything. The first guy probably didn't have his turbo clocked correctly, and that is a common issue people face if they have not installed a non-OEM turbo before and don't know any better.

As for my own:
Just switched to MHD+ with SumoTuned. Loving it. Spool is about 300 RPM higher than stock according to my logs. Right now I'm running about 30 PSI. Not sure what else to say: it's easy to install and has been super reliable.

This is my whip, CES did an overview video of the kit vs. a traditional Pure setup.

I'm happy to answer any questions folks have. I'm not a huge video/media guy, haven't taken any videos from in car or outside, and do not have a ton of miles on the setup yet (probably around 400 or so). It's a weekend car when i get it out but i do stretch the legs when it's out of the garage. Zero issues with the setup. I have not had time to do any 0-60 or 60-130 dragy runs yet. Flex tuned on BM3 by Sam from Dubai on 93 <-> E30. They explain my setup in the video, pretty much FBO excluding fueling, PI, and manifold. I will say, ~620whp on E30 is nuts and burns the rears off regardless of width or tire rating. ?

Sound-wise, the t51r mod is simply put....fucking incredible. It sounds like a jet plane on throttle or a big turbo, full frame setup that everyone loves (fill in your 800+whp monster turbo MKIV).

Very informative video and nice car! Do you have any videos of you driving out recording the turbo noises?

I did attempt last time I was in the car, have the gear and mounts and such but the audio didn’t turn out that great so I scrapped the recording. Next time I’m out I plan to try more recordings from different areas of the car. First attempt was to record from on top of the rear strut brace with built in audio but just didn’t translate the audio. Sounds so good in person and pretty average on recordings. You can hear the baby spool up on the dyno part of the CES video. I also have a full titanium exhaust now so it might be getting a bit muffled from that too. I do notice that when I close the valve in the exhaust that the turbo spool quiets down as well, which I like when exiting my neighborhood. ?

Definitely will be looking forward to your recordings!
