Hey guys - noticed my rear toe-settings went out of spec just from hard driving around town in the last 8 weeks.
My tech mentioned something about a rear toe kit to help keep toe settings set. I've seen the simple bolt and weld-in bracket as well as replacement arms.
What are the solutions you guys use?

@razorlab - thanks for the reply. Any reason I should skip the cheap alternatives like Megan for $200? I'd lean toward the SPL or Verkline simply because the build quality seems better and +$200 more is moot if I plan on keeping the car say until I am too old to drive it anymore.

Megan toe arms have horrible adjustment design. I would go for verkline as SPL has quality issues. I have lost count of how many SPL bearings and broken toe arms I have been through. Their support is pretty good but I got sick of replacing things and generally being weary on track with them.

Also, before moving to aftermarket arms, make sure your factory eccentrics are being torqued down correctly. I still run the factory eccentrics for rear camber, I paint mark them and they haven't moved over 12 track days this season. 21 track days last year.

@razorlab - thank you. Camber has held up on front and rear. As well as toe-up front. For some reason the BMW rear end adjustment with toe just like to slip. My 435i also slips out of adjustment quite quickly.

There's some threads about using a rubberized end of the arm versus a spherical end, I get that either will wear out, but with the Verk design, you think I can get at least 5 years in normal driving on the street?

I honestly couldn't tell you as I haven't owned my Supra for 5 years yet. I believe Verkline has rubber boots that come in the kit that you can put over the sphericals. I know my front Verkline LCA's came with them. I chose not to use them as I don't daily the car and I wanted to be able to do quick visuals on things after/before track days.

@razorlab - thank you for your feedback and time here!

I'll take your insights into consideration. The little rubber boot would be handy for street cars. I can see debris and moisture settling onto the bearing - not a big deal with race cars but mine's a daily so something to consider. (Later) It looks like Verk does offer rubber boots to fit over the ball. Wow.

I'm about 90% there. Do you have any take on any additional noise, clunks, or harshness once the arms are in? My sensitivity would be more about clunks and noise.

As a side note - I found Farkle from the BMW side who's done a video about the install and a little comparison. We've actually worked together on some BMW F30 projects a few years back. He did a nice write-up on the SPL and Turner arms and install on the G-platform, M2 side. (Adding here for this forum's archives.)

I noticed no change in sound or harshness from the toe arms. You do feel more in the rear, which is good.

I drove Evo’s for 15+ years so I am no stranger to harshness and weird sounds. ?

What SPL parts would you recommend swapping out 1st? I was going to wait until the parts started to fail. But that didn’t turn out too well last time ? ?

Another option with a good center turnbuckle design is the dinan set. Unfortunately, does not come with eccentric lockout kit so you'll need to buy that separately.

Good find! However, I don’t believe they have any other suspension parts.
