Found this on my app today. Pretty cool! Leaderboard of other peeps using the Garmin Catalyst to date at Homestead. My best time was 1:14.19, so lower on the list.

This is just the app on my iPad. The unit itself has more info and can be downloaded to the computer. I have yet to do that but can’t wait! I know it’s really basic compared to what some of y’all use but I’m really digging it for the easy of use. Has a built in microSD card and I’ve ordered an extra one to easily offload data and video. Have some pretty cool clips of dudes spinning out in front of me. Will share after I connect it to a computer. They even have a cloud server. I signed up for that so, the video might be on there as well.

Another really cool feature, it shows you your best time in each segment, calculating your “optimal” lap based on those segments. It has me down to 1:39 and change when my best segments are put together… It even shows a video of a complete lap with those optimal segment put together.

Extremely happy with this little unit and camera it came with so far! Can use your GoPro if you want the view behind ya as well. Can’t wait to hit Sebring in March now and review that data & times! Definitely adds a little extra to the fun factor

Can’t remember if I’ve shared this with y’all. You can look up the track you’re going to visit and get an idea of the “optimal” line. I like to compare to the GT3RS since we’re closer in weight and higher HP than the other option, a MX5.

Looks like you are doing a lot of coasting into braking zones in that video. Probably gain a couple seconds there.

Spot on! The Garmin tells me that on the unit as well, during or after. I don’t want to hear the thing while driving but some don’t mind it. Too much coasting, loosing lot of time all over the place. Still getting comfy in this wonderful car. Hence Carlos running way faster in his fully stock 2020. And I do mean fully!

And no worries, I’m going to be so jealous of you in the summer! I remember reading your post last summer almost in tears ? ?

Cool looking track, changes in elevation and could hear you scrubbing while staying focused as hell! Love it ? Met a new buddy last weekend with his GT350. His dad was hauling ass!!!! Passing me in the corners perfectly. Then I turned around and did the same, later in the day, when his son was driving, lol.

Saw some mentions of Racebox Mini paired with a smartphone app in here. Does anyone still run this or has everyone graduated?

Might pick one up for cheap so was trying to decide if this was a good option
