Rattle at exactly 1500

Too hard to capture on video, but I'm noticing a slight rattle when accelerating moderately in drive, right at 1500 rpm when it wants to shift. However not always, engine load has to be just right, I'm guessing the engine vibrates at a specific frequency to make something else vibrate. (The rattle is absent in park im assuming because of no load). Anyone know of trouble areas in the exhaust or around the engine bay that might give me a hint in where to check? I am catless as well.

You may need a second set of ears and put the car on jack stands or car in drive and hold the brake and gas at 1500rpm to see if you can duplicate the rattle.

Mine rattles sometimes and found it coming from the exhaust but it’s aftermarket. Check everything you have changed or had loose before. You will find it.

are you sure it is not an interior rattle you're hearing? because I have the same issue, but mine seems to come from either the tweeter speaker beind the driver seat, the plastic surrounding it or the lower door panel. Happens the worst between 800 and 1,500 RPM upon acceleration. Not as bad in lower or higher RPM's but in that range, it is very distinct. Very noticeable. And SUPER fucking annoying. For being higher end BMW like build quality, there sure are a lot of little creaks and rattles in the cabin that drive me nuts that my "cheaper" cars in the past have not had.

Ended up finding it! Was the clamp between the downpipe and exhaust, it was justttt the tiniest bit loose, snugged her down good
