Why bother drilling when there are literally options that better designed that you dont have to drill holes in anything. Will never understand why people chose the harder route for some things.
With our powers combined, we can end the senseless violence

Did this a couple months ago, but now I kinda wanna switch to the BTK one. BTK also requires drilling on the driver side, so I asked them about the measurements to see if I can reuse the BMR hole otherwise I don't really wanna drill another hole

Why the change? Too much NVH?

That’s cool. I just don’t see paying $300 more for a diff brace.

Just received and installed the Rapid Designs rear differential brace and I have to say, the whole process involving the vendor Evan was great. He was very good about sending out messages as the process went along. He was spot on with his shipping notices. Also, the installation instructions (got them online) were

very good and gave out the torque values for all the bolts and explained how the serrated washers worked. I also used blue Loctite just in case. As a lot of guys on here said, it’s very easy to install, just make sure you have the right tools on hand. I jacked the rear of the car up and installed jackstands on just each back side. Plenty of room to spin wrenches.
I took it out for a rip after installation but didn’t do any hard launches or anything, just wanted to feel it out. I did notice a small whine on decel, but that may have been there all the time and I’m just noticing it now? Wasn’t sure if anyone else thought they might have heard that?

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words!

Yeah a tad bit of gear whine at decel around 50mph to higher is what I get. Granted, my car has a half cage, coilovers, subframe bushings, Trans bushings, etc. But yep totally normal

No problem. In a world where there doesn’t seem to be any, it’s great to see good customer service, I respect that!
