Also, just meet me there in my bone stock Supra, except for 200tw tires and a front sway bar, and let's enjoy the day.
Your are so close to answering a very simple question though. You already stated you have been sub sixty seconds.

What is your best lap time with a non race car? A time you can back up with proof via some form of timer.

I'm literally asking a very simple and neutral question.
I'll have it with me on the first track event you show up to. Are you going to drive up in the Supra or trailer it? I think I'm going to drive mine.

Okay, so you cannot answer a simple question.

I don't trailer. I run 56's.
Not answering until I see you in person...

I just got a set of the vitour P1s mounted on a set of staggered 18/19 wheel set up track days. For autocrossing, I'm running a set of RE71's on 19s.

I was thinking of trying a set of hoosier A7s.

Seriously though. Why? It's just a number.

I told you mine. Now it's just disrespectful if you don't answer.
Ok ok. I don't run 56's. I'm way faster.

J/K - fastest I've run in a street car, 4th gen F-body (camaro/firebird) - 437rwhp - 2nd 4th gen to have coil overs in the USA - 275 front 315 rear hoosiers - 59.2

Car did better at Pocono fusa and VIR.

Hopefully I'll have better success with Supra.

Awesome, appreciate you answering finally.

I'm a pretty chill guy in real life even though I am snarky online. If we ever do meet, I'll buy you a beer and we can talk about cars.

Here is a video of my current PB at LRP:

Why are we still doing this??? You guys need to lighten up or move on or both. It was entertaining before now it's a complete waste of time.

My "crappy demeaning post" was saying "domestic partner". Nothing homophobic about it!!! And if that offends you, maybe stay in your house, lower the shades, and lock all the doors. The world is a scary place for you. And BTW I never deleted any of my posts. But the mods let a truly homophobic comment from some low life stay posted.

The only reason I responded the way I did, was from razorlab and rocksandblues condescending response. I hate people that "know it all" and have to try to stuff their opinion down your troat. And if you disagree, they then attack you.

I never asked anyone's opnion on using a belt harness with oem seat. I asked if anyone has a set up they are using or if a kit for mounting existed for the Supra. That's it. Read all the responses attacking me.

My car is getting set up for a stock class for autocrossing. Not track days. Instead of reading that major detail, I get the peanut gallery responding on how unsafe it is and how I must be an idiot. Obviously these guys have no experience with SCCA autocrossing or are not familiar with stock/street class rules, but still felt the need to attack me.

Sorry for the drama, but I didn't start this. I tried to make lite of the attacks, but i guess that backfired. Oh well, maybe we can get back car stuff now.
Glad you didn’t intend to throw more fuel on the fire for regular Americans who love all people but no longer want sheep ? guided legacy media (or Hollywood) telling us how to think. Neither side of the isle should be pushing hate. Since peeps take everything the wrong way online, it’s best to keep it neutral as possible.

:topic:
Definitely don’t use that choke harness conversion thing. I drove on the OEM one for 2️⃣ years. The regular belt with a kneepad to brace your left leg will be fine. You can scoot the seat back, pull the belt till it locks and move the seat back up. You’ll be snug as a bug in a rug & surprisingly put down some really good laps times. The Supra seats are not like driving the butt numbing ones found in a Cadillac or Crown Vic. You can still feel each of the four corners and know which tires is slipping, blown or even where a control arm or end link breaks off ?

A seat should be the 1st thing you get for any car you track. So if you‘re on the fence, get a real seat and harness. If you want to test her out some more, stick with the OEM belt & seat.

Did this ever come to a supportive conclusion? Similar boat here for other reasons. Picked up BK bits for E46/E9X thinking it would work to clip the lap belts in. Held pieces up to Supra seats and it looks like the garnishes and OE belt pieces create interference / problems. Going to give it a go again but been curious if anyone has made it work.

It’s amazing when some shit just makes sense for itself.
I mean it literally just adds lateral thigh support, which is exactly what a race seat does. Obviously not as effective, but not everyone wants to commit their cars to a track setup.

We have something similar from Racetech (minus the wangs) for the wife when she drives. Since the race seat no longer moves up & down. But again, broken record, we did fine in the OEM seat and a knee pad for bracing against the drivers door. And scoot the seat back, tighten the belt and scoot the seat back up puts you in pretty snug. That’s the best way to go imo until OP is willing to the trigger on a race seat.

For those that realise ( at the very beginning when i saw those god awful silver inserts in the stock seats) ...that the seat needs to be replaced...... is there a way i can use my unlocked bm3 ECU to remove any errors from changing the seat? I hate not feeling connected to the car when driving and want a 5 point harness ASAP! I will run a sparco evo QRT XL.
