Is that legal where you live, as far as sound level? I seems loud, but I can adjust what I hear by turning up or down my PC's speakers' volume, so it's hard to tell.

Sounds great. How does it sound in the cabin? Drone in either mode? Any rattle from the valve?

It’s not nearly as loud as the Camaro across the street or the Mustang with straight pipes down the block. Is it a bit raucous on cold start? Yeah. But it tones down nicely and unless I rip on it doesn’t annoy the neighbors.

In normal mode it’s fine. Can easily carry on a conversation and hear music. It opens up nicely when you mash the gas though. In Sport mode it’s noisy but not bad except if you’re cruising in top gear at 80 mph 2k rpm - then it drones. Add or drop revs and it’s fine. With a stock downpipe it would likely be different.

No valve rattle.

Overall I like it.

@sabrownfl did yours smoke quite a bit after hard pulls for a while? Mine did, just out of the driver side in normal mode. Took a couple hours of driving to burn all of whatever it was away. (In 30 years of car and motorcycle modding, I’ve only ever installed muffler deletes. ? So maybe it’s normal for the stuffing in a muffler to burn out?)
