Hello guys this happened last week and I haven’t got a clue of what’s going on. Could it be either a blown fuse or a conmen electrical issue.? I’m still new to the BMW engineering, however when you press the sport mode button there should be a “Clicking” sound of when you activate and deactivate on and off. As of now as you guys can see from the video the “clicking” sound is gone. I don’t know what happened, however the pig tail at the tail pipe is still connected. I did unplug and plug it back on and nothing changed. Has anyone encountered this issue before?

The clicking sound I think of the electric solenoid for the valve. You checked this after it's been warmed up right? The valve doesn't open and close with the sport button until the car is warmed up enough.

If this is after you've warmed up the car, try and record the valve to see if it's moving or not when you hit the sport button. I had a valve go bad and needed to replace it once, so even if the pig tail is plugged in the valve itself could have gone bad. If the valve doesn't move, then it's either the connection or the valve.

I might be the value controller that opens and closes on the exhaust. From the video the car was already warmed up on normal temperature. I got to see if my friend has an extra value controller one on his stock exhaust. He upgraded to the Duel Tomei exhaust and Tomei doesn’t have the open and close values like the stock and HKS. I’ll try it out once I get back home.

Thanks again, I hope this solves it 🤞

My 2026 Final Edition does not make a clicking noise when activating the Sport Mode or deavtivating it. I had a 2024 3.0 Premium also and that didn't make a clicking noise either.

My 2023 absolutely made a click from the motor when switching modes, but it was only audible from outside the car.

You can hear it in this guy's video at 12 seconds and 20 seconds. It's a dinan exhaust, but still the same OEM flapper motor.
