strut tower brace make a big difference on a stock Supra?

Hi Fellow Supra Owners,

I have a stock 2023 manual Supra. I have only installed wheel spacers and rock guards, but wanted to know if anyone else tracks their Supra and has noticed a huge difference after installing a quality Strut Tower Brace?

Please let me know as I am looking to buy one, but don't want to spend $250 if they don't make a decent improvement. I am not interested in lowering my car right now. Thank you. Joe

Your 23 comes std with the factory braces and I've got a feeling that on the road or even track you won't gain anything. Just gut instinct. I've also got a Blitz brace on order but I don't expect it to actually do anything it's just a bit of under hood bling for me.

When I installed the BMS bars I could tell a difference so it is functional.. mine is a 2020 so did not come with those Schwin bicycle frame looking pieces..

Your car will have the factory bare aluminum strut braces. I upgraded mainly for aesthetics but went with the RacingBees Strut bar, identical to the Blitz apart from the logo and it's a fair bit cheaper

none at all. even '20 that did not come with STB, very minuscule difference that is negligible.

In my opinion they will not add much stiffness. Keep in mind that the strut towers are already triangulated against the firewall (the stamped steel pieces under the rubber weatherstrip) in addition to the stock strut bars.

Honestly speaking, it made no noticeable difference, it's a plasibo effect and just for a bit of under hood aesthetics. That's the reality.

I painted my OEM braces Red and felt an immediate difference.

Every Supra already has a proper strut bar triangulated to the firewall. Even 2020’s. It’s under the weather stripping and windshield wiper plastics.

I put it on my 2020 and noticed in the mountains, the tight roads, turns, a more solid line in and out of the turn.
