Supra 2.0 Sound Clip

Anyone heard clip of the noise the 4 banger makes? All the release videos I've seen have music instead of engine sounds...audibly disappointing. Post a link if you've found one. Have the 2020 3.0 exhaust systems been consistent across all markets?

3.0 exhausts, to my knowledge:

Exhaust for NA: Loudest
Exhaust for AU/JP: Medium (Eu muffler)
Exhaust for Europe: Softest (Eu downpipe with OPF/GPF and EU muffler, possibly pipes as well, I am not sure)

Probably best to check JDM 2.0 supra clips for what you are looking for...

Thanks for posting this. Like all 4-cylinders, it sounds terrible imo. Won’t be long until these are everywhere with fart cans, sadly.

I've never heard anyone say this before, and I've been around a while. There are endless examples of 4 cylinder engines, especially in motorsports, that sound incredibly badass. My '16 Yamaha R1 sounded pretty freaking awesome with the tune and pipe I did. I also enjoyed the engines notes of my '08 S2000CR, NC Miata, and FRS (with cat backs on the latter two. Rally cars? Yes please.

There are many compelling reasons to consider the Supra 2.0, especially if you plan to modify and/or track. 200lbs+ less weight being one...

Given the choice, I'd always prefer to hear the engine note under load rather than free revved. Streetable examples:

I prefer the I6 for the Supra myself, as my car will see only occasional track days at COTA, and the stock '21 power is plenty for me in a ~3300lb car-no major mods planned. Seems to me just about any internal combustion engine can have an appealing note, with the right exhaust.

THE best sounding cars are rotaries. Bar none. Look up the video of the Mazda 787B screaming down the mulsanne straight in Le Mans. You hear the car 30 seconds before it comes into view lol.
