Man! I'm sorry, I do watch your videos, they're surely fun, but this title is rather a horrible clickbait... I went in expecting some actual programming... Surely a needed video for total newbies, but the title....
I'd title this as "Beginners guide to setting up OBDLink and How to use BimmerCode for your Supra" or something along the lines..

Can you please define which menu, which settings you used for the brightness?

For other people interested in BimmerCode, here are few more screenshots to give an idea.
FYI, you need to brush up on your German skills to understand most of these settings. Expert menu gives a ton of options to play with, none of which have any good explanations. So, expect digging into BMW forums to set things up properly.

Disclaimer: These screenshots below do not show how to set up anything! just a few random screenshots from the app!
click on below "spoiler" to view them...

Yeah this video was a general overview of how to make changes. I didn't want to take credit for the codes others have discovered. There is another thread in electronics forum that has more coding instructions.

So did you get full screen CarPlay to work?

I have not tried it. Frankly, I don't want it. split-screen works for me. I just happened to stumble into that config screen.
I wanted to increase the brightness of the screen for now and see what else there is. Most are gibberish to me at the moment. I've to dig into other forums for details.

Good to hear, now my sub won’t shake my car apart in idle at red lights when in sport mode. It plays a ~20hz sine wave for whatever dumb reason only in that condition.
Yes I've noticed my stereo sounds so much better now!

You can hear the before & after engine sound difference in video above. Also anyone seeing this I'm giving away an OBD adapter so check out video!

I bought an ODB right before your video. Been loving your videos. Keep it up.

Prior to this my newest car is a 1999 A80

Can coding cause issues with servicing/warranty etc?
This doesn’t touch PCM. Dealer can update & code over changes. Then you would have to code back.

Thanks for stumbling across full screen car play. Honestly I have been looking for that for awhile.
