Supra Instrument Cluster Gear Number next to "D" missing?

I received my new 2024 45th Anniversary Edition Supra in automatic recently. I noticed in some pictures and videos online, there is a number of which gear they are currently in next to the "D" on the center Instrument Cluster in Drive Mode, this seems to be missing in 2024 models (seen from some newer review videos).

Has this been the case? If so, is there an option to have it shown in BimmerCode?

That's a screenshot I found online with the number next to the "D" which my car doesn't have.

That changes it to manual mode and the D is replaced by the gear. He is talking about the small numbers next to D.

There is manual mode by moving the shifter sideways to the left, but then there is also the paddle ONLY manual mode

Right, but doesn't that also change the D to the gear? I literally never drive in auto mode so not sure.

Yup, I have a 2020.

interesting, on 2023 models the numbers will time out after about 10 seconds without paddle input

You might want to contact bimmer code to see if maybe theres something you can enable through it because ive got the app and figuring out what some of the settings specifically for the instrument cluster actually do is damn confusing

I wonder if this is related to the software version the 2023-2024 are on. I only did the brake recall on my 2020 and I haven't gone to the dealership to get it to the latest software version or DIY.
