I appreciate your feedback having the personal experience. I’m not gonna lie, I don’t know why but recently I’ve been liking the sound of the Mustangs and even Camaros in my area with their sweet sounding exhausts. I’ve never owned either a mustang or camaro and have recently wondered what those cars were like as in living with them or longevity. Not thinking the grass is greener but simply curiosity
I loved my mustang and owning a naturally aspirated V8 is a fun experience. That being said, you have to really hammer the throttle to get to the power band where the car comes alive.

Supra is fast, nimble, and is easier to daily drive. The mustang handled like a boat in comparison…not as bad as a dodge challenger though. Those things are bricks on wheels lol. Hellcats are fun but I digress.

I know what you mean. There are potentially faster cars, in the same price range as the Supra...but the other cars just don't "do it" for me.

I can appreciate that the C8 is a beast, and it's the most exotic Vette ever, both in looks, and the mid-engine layout. But I simply can't see me in one.
Do C8's come equipped with a pair of New Balance sneakers?? I also love the look of the C8, at least did when they first came out. They just don't have any personality....these and hellcats....like the go to car for anyone over 60+ who just wants a cool car.

I used to break and train horses and have no place to have horses now but love them. For me having the supra is like having my favorite horse it's enjoyable and just a pleasure to ride. And it's got spunk. Sadly, right now I'm not driving it as I just had my shoulder replaced shoulder joint I should say, but as soon as I am able I will be driving it again, no intention of getting rid of it.

Pretty much exactly my experience: I thought the C8 looked amazing when it was first released. Then after all the old dudes got their hands on it, it lost its appeal in my eyes. It's still a very nice looking car, but it's a very nice old guy car to me.

Nothing against old dudes (I pray to get there), but the Vette has always kinda been their thing. Idk why I thought the C8 could break that mold.

I know what you mean. It lost that youthful appeal. I am 75 but I am agist. I admit it but it doesn't mean I'm a jerk but when all I see is older guys driving the C8 it's like would I want to get one and frankly no. I bought the supra because it reminded me of the 240 Z that was really modernized and I always wanted a 240 Z.

I was extremely happy with my 2022 A91 CF UNTIL I took it in for my yearly or is that 6 month oil change and state inspection sticker. It was a Toyota Corporate Executive auto before I purchased it with just over 10,000 miles on it. I was still considered the first owner title wise. I put on just over 7,000 miles on it in 2 years. I am retired and have not made any long trips in it. Still I have mashed down on the gas peddel a good amount and used to love the 270 degree turns getting off am interstate. I did have to have a new set of rear tires puy on to pass the state inspection. Maybe it is the tires, but I now feel it is way too twitchy to make any fast turns or punch the gas peddel. The dealership also updated the computer chip and I wonder if that is my problem and or the tires.

I thought about getting a MT, but some of the safety features are missing when you get the MT vs the AT. Also, I don't like the price I would have to pay to trade up. I think gas mileage would be lower for the MT, thus more $$$ at the pump. AND the new one would NOT be painted YELLOW, my favorite color!!!!

75, driving a Supra, and surfing Supra forums? Damn, I hope to be like you when/if I get there?

The body is the frustrating part. Not the Supra's body. lol. It is your mind and what you accept. I like all types of music, art, cars etc. Live until you die, don't die to live.

On year 4 now. Definitely tried to grab a newer model before the lease was up, but alas the colors keep disappearing and I know I'll never get the same price.

Only car to convince me to sell would be a well spec'd GT4.

Mine is two years old and love it. I may be one of the oldest owners at 77 and still able to get in and out of it. Owned a 1984 for 6 years and loved that one also.
So cool to see older dudes still enjoying this stuff (at 45, I'm no spring chicken either, mind you).

People have always told me I'm going to lose the love for all my toys as I get older, but it has yet to happen. I'm cool with getting older, God willing. But I don't ever want to lose my passions and hobbies. You guys give me hope.
