new app goes with the new bt adapter only. if you already have a jb4 with bluetooth, no need for the new one.
Thanks. I ordered my JB4 in December with BT and the FP addon. Assuming that is the old bt that doesn't need the new app

Hey guys, i just installed a hypercore on my 21 m340. Did some logs, and if you wouldn't mind looking them over. i am concerned about timing corrections if anyone could give me insight on how I can lower them.

Here's what's done to the car
- Dinan intake
-DAW Turbo inlet
-DAW hypercore turbo
-AA highflow DP
-Awe track exhaust
-BMS fuel pressure connector.
-AA chargepipe
-Sparkplugs are gapped to .22

cars on map 5 E33

Should I not be worried about the ign 10 across 1-6? Genuine question, still learning about jb4. Also not sure how jb4 measures timing.

In general, ignition timing will do its thing and it changes with boost and gear and IAT (and which way the wind is blowing in cuba during that particular pull). We are primarily watching for knock by making sure all cylinders stay mostly aligned and rising.

yep, actually the newer firmware updates that change how ign1-6 are read is helpful in this regard. easier to tell the difference between low timing from IATs and actual corrections.

Hey all, I'm pretty new to JB4, but was wondering if someone could review my logs? My Supra is stock, but I'm installing a downpipe soon. The best pump gas I could find near me is 93 octane with 10% ethanol content.

It felt good, but I want to make sure there's no issues (knock, etc) for when I move to map 2 after downpipe install. Let me know if you think I should make any changes or move to higher ethanol content.

For this log, I I turned the corner and accelerated until I hit high rpms, shifted to second and did the same again, then just cruised. Anything out of the ordinary?

I'm on Map 1, but purchased jb4 used, reset everything to default and set the boost failsafe to 23psi.

I see in the log you never actually put your foot all the way down, so the jb4 effectively did nothing. 3rd or 4th, foot all the way down. If you start to spin or hit traction control, try again.
