@a70 I was wondering your opinion on the test cars that were being driven in Spain power level wise. Personally I think it is probable that the testers were driving a German spec car, (with the particulate filter that robs a good chunk of power). What is your take ?

I thought that was confirmed? especially since you have to abide by emissions laws to register the car for public roads

Is Spain included within this German emission standard as well ? I know there was some back and forth on the matter but I wasn't sure if there was a concrete answer.

Given what has been said internally and what we can publically deduce from the Z4, yes, but still best to assume the car has less power just in case.

@A70TTR will the MKV interior be sealed off for all of its remaining appearances?

Can the particulate filter be removed?

@A70TTR - with the release of specs for the new M340i, it’s safe to say that BMW is utilizing the new motor Toyota co-developed right?

I don’t see the US Spec Supra getting the EU motor. If we do happen to get the top rated motor, can one assume that the Supra could quite possibly hit 0-60 under 4 sec? Especially considering the M340i hits that in 4.2 sec, while weighing in at almost 3600 lbs.

All “hypothetical” of course haha

I wouldnt assume anything at this point, but I still expect the Supra to be in the range of ~4s 0-60 in production form.
Gotcha. I’ll stop assuming then haha. Maybe they did throw a bunch of nonsense into the Supra like you mentioned in the other thread lol

Something I can mention is that the rpm shown in the reviews is not final, but not for the reasons some may think.

Hint, the A90 is a new vehicle.

Also, stock run of the mill B58 redline is 7k...
