Very nice. In certain light, that blue really does make me question picking yellow! ?

Also, did you get the detailer to change the badges while it was in or did you do it yourself prior?

And that red badge is mint!

Wholy shit. That looks so freaking good. Hm... I may also need a red Supra badge hah. It looks great mate.

Once it's home, would you mind sharing some more pics? Any pics you got, I'm keen to see ?

I got the same colour as you and I've never seen so many different looking blues, that are actually the same.

Hey mate, I got the them to do for me. When I turned up, I gave them the parts and they were happy to do it. The red badge is sitting on top of the PPF now.

Just to let you know, they couldn’t remove the old ones without breaking them. He was very apologetic and actually purchased OEM badges and I now have them as spares. What absolute legends. Makes me question if it’s even possible to remove them in one piece.

By the way, the blue pops like hell, I have had so many comments already about it and it’s almost always the first thing that’s mentioned is how nice is the colour. It’s true that the camera can’t capture the depth of colour. Very very happy with this choice. However, I do absolutely love the yellow as well! If the blue wasn’t there, the yellow was my go to. And a yellow manual is going to be a unicorn ?

hahaha thank you! I don’t have more pics yet, but I certainly will be taking more over the coming weeks and I’ll be sure to share them here. You’re right, the camera can’t quite capture the blue colour in real life.

So, turns out... Toyota, at it again...

Last week I was told April delay to July build. And I just got this email 5 minutes ago.

We must be in the same batch, as I got my email mid week as well. Any idea how long people are waiting between production and delivery? I think I recall my dealer estimating 2-3 months

It sounds so. If you get a boat name, please let me know. My stock controller said she will keep an eye out for a vessel name for me too (I'll pm you if I get it too).

For you guys who have just received your 'Build' emails, can I please ask when you placed your orders?

I don't want to rain on your parade but I wouldn't rely on any information that comes from Toyota or the dealer with regards to build/delivery dates. I still haven't gotten a "build" email.. but my car is currently sitting in Port Melbourne. ?

Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

September last year mate.

Couldn't agree more... just take any information you get with a grain of salt and have no expectations.

12ish months seems to be about average.

For the Aussies with the red Supra badge, was it hard to get? Any tips/help?

I've found a toyota accessories seller on ebay that ships from US to Aus, but looks like it will be about $250-$300 delivered. Ouch.

I got them from a dude on here who lives in the US.. and yes, that's pretty much the price I ended up paying. Last I checked, RRP for the part is $125USD. Everything for this car costs a mint. Also, all the online sellers I tried would take the order and then cancel it without warning.. but you might have better luck.

And I should add, some folks are a little precious about it being that it is exclusive to the bullshit "A91" model in the US. Red is standard on MTs in Europe though. And of course, we just have to import them at insane prices. ?
