Guess it's just personal preference but I like the factory badging better...
These 3d badges to me look generic...I really don't like how much they seem to protrude of the car...
Again personal preference...

Steve

I agree, but I think the factory badges protrude too much as well. I do think these monochrome replacements look cleaner in this case. Nocturnal benefits the most IMO. I just wish they'd put adhesive-only ones on and left flat panels underneath... then I'd completely debadge the whole thing.

Which is probably exactly the reason they didn't do that now that I think of it.

I agree these look best on nocturnal...maybe if it was a flush fit I'd like em better...
Just looks like a Camry badge to me...

But if the op is happy with them n the look I'm happy for him...

I understand completely what you're saying! As I said in the video I wish they were a little more flush as well. They aren't as bad as you think if you saw them in person. I do agree as I also said, they look best on black and darker colors. I do hate the oem badges though, to me they look cheap.

Thank you so much! I'm trying to keep it as a clean simple look. I absolutely love this car.

If it weren't for the fact that it would still look a little odd with the oval in relief, I'd consider getting just the color matched backing plate with nothing on it for mine... then just either leave it or put a vinyl logo on it. Would be much easier to clean at least.

If it weren't so expensive for such a minimal aesthetic change... I'd have a body shop fill them and leave it smooth - however, I can't see justifying ~$1K or more for that. Though it's cheaper than the alternative I guess (~$3800):

...and I haven't found a bumper replacement (that I liked) with it deleted... so half solution at best.

I agree. If it was smooth I would have just taken the stock emblems off. But that indentation is massive for a badge.

Not sure what you mean about the bumper???

I just meant that even if I replaced the hatch with the Seibon (or other) and had a perfectly smooth rear end ? - I'd still have a badge on the front (nose) and many of the CF replacements I looked at still had the oval indention there. So tons of money spent and only one badge "dimple" solved.

I did find on etsy cf badges that looked smooth. Not sure of the quality or anything though.

Looks good. Where is the link where these were bought at though?
https://www.thicf30.com/custom-supra-badges

You could find this with a Bing search. (As we all know, the vehicle accessory search market segment is extremely competitive. The market segment offers a wide range of alternatives for consumers and is in no need of government regulation.)
