Hi guys, I had a shop install some ohlins coilovers and SPL FLCA. I noticed some contact between the tie rod and the upper arm. See pics. What could be the issue? I’m using 2 big spacers above the bearing for the SPL arms, and I’m lowered about 1.25 inches

man you would HEAR it hitting that lower arm when driving .... i suspect that was from the shop undoing the tie rod for the adjustment.

BTW your toe must have been way out to make what looks like such a large adjustment ( 3 threads/turns on each wheel +/- 4mm )

I increased front camber by .3 degrees each side, that’s probably the reason right?

Very likely that they came into contact upon strut removal during the coilover install.

I agree with the assessment that you would hear this level of contact in the cabin. It would be a significant, noticeable, hard, loud, unmissable CLUNK if it was actually suspension contact while driving. If you haven't heard anything, this was just the poor tech trying to get the jam nut undone.
