Looks way better with tint. Plus so many people stare at this car I'd rather them not see me lol. 5% 3m carbon tint sides/back(with lifetime warranty). Zero issues seeing at night.

I just got my Supra tinted with XPEL Prime XR Plus 20%.
Here's the video that I made for the project. Hope it helps anyone on the fence!

Did you powder coat wheels?
I have exact same colour supra (one day old with tint) and this is awesome inspiration.
Thank you buddy...

That has not been my experience with any of my cars. The longest I had was 14 years and when I sold the car, the 3M film was as pristine as when it was first installed.
Wait until 26+ years. Mine did.
You will see. Lol
It all depends on how long you own your car.

I don't intend to keep my Supra, or any car, that long.
Same here...I think the longest I've held on to any new car I've owned is ~4 years...

Tinting is a must here in AZ with our intense sun light! And the new tint films available are extremely durable and hold up very well over time....

Tint!
Have tinted every vehicle I have owned. Looks so much better, keep interior cooler, easier on the eyes.

My 2002 F250 and 2002 M3 tint have held up perfectly. Those are the only 2 i have kept over 3 years. Probably will always own those 2 LOL

You guys....... (Not Keeping the Supra) I am keeping her until the wheels fall off.....
I'm the same way. I currently have an 86 4runner that I will turn into a flower bed before it sees a new name on the title.

Keeping mine at probably 80% tint all around including front. Planning on doing a red roll cage and really want it to be visible for the look I want. Tint to me on my supra will just be for heat rejection and cancer rejection.

If my $500 purchase for tint is *really* poorly done & fades/bubbles within 5 years (nevermind 26+) and both the company that applied it and the company that manufactures the film both go tits up, it would still be a worthwhile investment. (Realistically though, if that were to happen, I'd have the tint removed & replaced under warranty)

It just seems like a really pessimistic perspective for such a minor investment. Imagine if we felt the same way about tires....
