BREAKING: Toyota releases a questionnaire for those interested in the legendary Toyota GR Super Sport. Crazy.

https://www.toyota.co.jp/cmpnform/pub/co/grss_survey_en
Thank you for the heads up! I filled out their survey for fun.

While they are of course looking for feedback on their GR Super Sport (though it's so rare and expensive you have to wonder why they wouldn't court likely buyers more directly) I felt like it was a good opportunity to give them some subtle feedback on interest in what GR models I am actually interested in : )

Under "cars I plan to purchase" I listed pretty much every one of their current and upcoming projects with some very specific notes:

"(1) Toyota GR Supra A90 (MKV) with factory manual transmission option
(2) Toyota GR 86 with factory manual transmission and factory Brembo brake package option
(3) Future Toyota GR Corolla (US market) *only if* entire GR Yaris 1.6L turbo 6MT AWD drivetrain is carried over
(4) Future Toyota GR Celica in whatever highest performance spec is offered
(5) Future Toyota GR MR2"

Given that the GR Super Sport is mostly a major halo hypercar intended to build interest in their brand and more accessible models that has to count for some kind of feedback to let them know what GR models and trim packages are of real world interest.

I think the design patent is still active.
