I spoke with my dealership today and via my VIN this is the correct part
TPMS: 42607-WAA02

I ordered online from McGeorge Toyota.
They sell parts cheaper then anywhere else
They’ve got them for $58.83 each

Curious I have a friend that stocks generic TPMS with 433mhz on my x5 we used those and programmed them for the truck. Obviously it worked but the Supra is not on his device to program with. Would us programming these generic units for a say 340i 2019 or any 2019 BMW at that would work for the Supra ?

What’s the difference between the toyota tpms 42607WAA02 vs 42607WAA01 ?? Will both work?
01 has 315 mhz. I have 02 on one set and 01 on the other. bought 01 thinking that it can be used for "automatic" setting since set /w 02, i had to set it manual. turns out, none i could work with automatic setting. both works fine /w manual setting - reading pressure and temperature" and satisfied.

yes. I think dealer may have to do something but the TPMS' I bought off the ebay, 433mhz (02) & 433+315 mhz (01). Both sensors could not be worked with automatic detection setting on tire setting section of infotainment. I think only way to get "automatic detection" to working is buying toyota OEM sensors ($80/tpms) and tires from dealer. However, both works perfectly fine with manual setting. Once I have those 2 sets recognized by system, I didn't even have to change anything after switching it. it automatically detected another set and continued monitor the pressure & temp. it just had a blip on message that different set of tires were detected.

So I have a bit of a story. I bought a set of Launch Edition take-offs from a guy on eBay a few weeks ago. The ad said that the factory TPMS sensors were still installed and the tires looked to be low mileage so I went ahead and bought them.

I finally got to putting them on over the weekend. When I was cleaning them up, I realized that the valve stems didn't look anything like the valve stems that came on my stock wheels but I continued not thinking much of it. Once they were installed, I took the car for a drive and the TPMS light came up pretty quickly (which I expected).

Here is a pic of the LE wheel valve stem:

And this is the valve stems on my stock wheels:

I went into the Tire Pressure Monitor menu and tried first to "automatically" connect the new TPMS with no luck. Same for the manual connection. The progress stayed at 0% even after 15 minutes of driving.

I began to question if the wheels simply didn't have any TPMS installed so I pulled the valve stem core out of both my factory wheels and the LE wheels I had just bought. My factory wheels wouldn't allow me to stick a straw through (presumably because the sensor was blocking it), but on my LE wheels, the straw went straight though (as if there is no sensor at all).

Does anyone have any input on this? Is it possible that the 2020 sensor just isn't linking to my 2021? This could be the case but the valve stem doesn't look like a 2020 or 2021 factory valve stem. Just want to get some opinions before I take the car in to have the tires pulled off the wheels.

Appreciate any advice/input. Thanks.

Those are non-TPMS rubber valve stems. You got ripped off.
